Very impressive and clean. Felt very up to date and comfortable. Also the price is very reasonable.

I rate chain motels a 4 when they're up to what I consider the chain's standards. This location has the potential for a five--but they have some issues to iron out.Let's get the negatives out of the way first. Our room had two places where electrical outlets were missing--one of the holes was on the nightstand to the right side of the bed, so no electrical outlet or USB port handy there. The bottom panel of the headboard, below that opening, was loose--so perhaps someone had tried to work on it? Well, we travel with some extension cords, and so we were able to get the needed plugs to that bedside--but they need to finish the room.I wonder if Choice Hotels recently acquired this property and is in the process of tidying up?The other correction I'd want is for them to swap the desk and sofa. The sofa and TV are on the same wall--put the sofa opposite and people can sit to watch a show.On the upside, the suite itself was extra-spacious and comfy. There's a verygenerous entryway and office/lounge space, and the bed area separated by a knee wall. The bathroom is fully enclosed but there's a second sink in the room as well--that's rather generous. As is usual for Choice hotels, the staff was pleasant and the complementary breakfast good--tho' I wish they'd add oatmeal to the mix.Absolutely a great value.

The bed is comfortable. Other than that, I am so disappointed in my stay. I had surgery on 7/22/25 and we arrived 2 days prior. We had our 2 mini dachshunds with us and told the lady at the desk they would be leaving when my husband had to leave on Saturday morning. We also told them we didn't know what we would do with the dogs on the day of surgery. My husband couldn't leave the hospital until after I was out of surgery and he spoke to the surgeon. So since he was going to be gone from the hotel from 11 until 6pm, we boarded the dogs just down the road. Dachshunds are known for how much they like to bark at everything, so we figured it would be better for other guests, as well as me worrying about how they were doing back at the hotel, they and everyone were better off with them boarded. Well, it seems you have to advise them ahead of time that the dogs wouldn't be in the hotel. Dogs cost either $30 or $35 per day per dog. The manager was kind enough to lower it to $20/day/dog. When I finally got a printout of the charges, saw that they charged for the entire week for the dogs. They owe us a refund of 2 days the dogs were not at the hotel. $80, nothing like this stress after having major surgery. For us, money doesn't grow on trees. Also, be careful, the women who work there do not understand english. When the manager told her on the phone that he wasn't going to refund us, and we still had a problem with it, she just shoved the receipt and the managers business card at us. If you speak their language you should be ok.

We've stayed here many times over the years. This once sparkling property is showing some rough edges. That would be OK, except for the attitude of the staff.Upon check-in, clerk scrutinized my ID...for a long time. Got to room, toilet didn't work. She said she'd come up...hit the handle and said it's OK. Well, it swirled, but didn't (you know). Found myself arguing about toilet function with a person who spoke very poor english. Finally told her toilet is not right, we need another room...got an attitude (but, finally, another room).Property was clean, breakfast nice, just did not feel very welcome here.

The room was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was different. The toilet would not flush correctly, even after used a plunger on it. Luckily we were on 1st floor and used bathroom down the hall. Pool needs some updates as paint flakes where coming up in the poo.. but the service was very nice.
