We attended our first concert tonight at the community center of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Fort Myers. It was a lovely candlelight concert and the string quartet were consumate musicians. The people ushering in concert goers were warm and welcoming. And the venue was very comfortable with cushioned seats. We look forward to attending more concerts as well as spreading the word about these musicians among friends and neighbors.

Informal setting, great performances. The Gulf Coast Symphony has been performing at the Universalist church property on Shire Lane, just off Daniels Parkway in Ft. Myers, FL. It is easy to find and park, and the ticket prices are very reasonable. Chamber music, Symphony, Jazz, Broadway; all types of entertainment are offered through season.

I absolutely love the Gulf Coast Symphony! All the musicians are incredibly talented, and they sound amazing together. What's astounding to me is that all of them are volunteers! They are a part of this orchestra because they love playing their instruments and they want to contribute to their community in a positive way. I have been to many of their concerts, and they are always excellent. Many times, they will have guest singers or guest conductors, and they also play for operas and musicals. Your experience with this orchestra will be worth every penny you spend on your ticket!

Not only do they have great music, but they also bring in other talent along with the music. A wonderful evening.

Your heart should warm when you hear retired schoolteachers, doctors, and regular folk who volunteer their time to bring music to us. The music is not always in tune and goose bump making, but this is an organization that we all should support!
