tripadvisorComfort inn on East side of Evansville is disappointing to say the least.. my room 148 was infested with bed bugs, so of course once I realized I did a early check out. They have been dodging me since. I've filled a complaint with corporate and 5 days later still no resolution.. I'm so furious. I've missed worked 3 days now. My personal belongings are still bagged up. I'm so over the top. My next c is complaint is with BBB. I'm over being punished for trusting a business.
MoreWas more than satisfied with the two day experience at this Comfort Inn. Price very reasonable, breakfast adequate ,room-breakfast area, clean. But most of all-The staff very friendly. We will be returning to Evansville(granddaughter moved there), will definitely stay here.
MoreI have stayed at this hotel on a couple different occasions. I have always felt secure and appreciated the customer service I receive from the staff. The parking lot is well lit and there are plenty of parking spaces. When I stayed here this last time I noticed they were doing a remodel. I just wanted to thank the staff for a nice stay- in a clean and comfortable room! Thank you Comfort Inn and Suites!
MoreThe room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and luxurious touches. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the view from my window was breathtaking. I also loved the little details, like the complimentary welcome gift and personalized notes—such a nice touch!
MoreWe were traveling east on interstate 64 , been driving for 100s of miles, it was approaching 10 PM so we decided to jump on interstate 69 and drive a few miles south to Evansville to stay at this place After we checked in at the front desk we went to the room ; We got a king size bed but what was odd is the right side of the bed it looked like the box spring had collapsed, but it was so late. We just decided to live with it So they have complementary breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM every day of the week even on Sundays I thought that maybe weekends would end a little later, but to play it safe I got up got dressed and headed down to the lobby for the breakfast, I was cutting it close. I left my room at 8:58 but I figured I could just get in there, get a few things before they start breaking it down. As I walked in the room there was only one family left and there was a guy working there, and with maniacal speed he had torn down everything. He looked at me and he said “breakfast 6 to 9 “ and sure enough it was 9 o’clock on the dot There was literally nothing , not a yogurt, a piece of fruit , a granola bar, zero This guy has got to be the fastest at tearing down breakfast that I’ve ever seen. He looked at me again with my bewildered look on my face. He kept saying “breakfast 6 to 9 “ over and over almost with some sort of sadistic pleasure that he had denied me anything from the breakfast table He had broken everything down within the 80 to 100 seconds it took for me to walk from my room to the breakfast area. This jerk was at least gracious enough to allow me to pour myself a cup of coffee . I then walked over to the front desk and I said to the clerk “you know I drove almost 1000 miles yesterday, rolled in here very late. I get down here and breakfast is gone”. I know I was getting there right at the end of the breakfast. But I mean no consideration for a guest who paid to stay there the night before , nothing whatsoever. I just told him I had never seen something like this happen in my decades of traveling the roads and staying in hotels. Maybe this place has people that have abused the time and several of them pour in right before the breakfast is supposed to end. I have no idea - but the attitude of this place and the people who work here, well I regret staying here, and obviously will never stay at this place ever again. In reading this you might think this is petty complaint. This establishment is supposed to be based on hospitality, greeting and taking care of your guests ; sometimes making small concessions or showing a tiny bit of kindness and understanding to an exhausted, weary road traveler can go a long way to boost your reputation. So that breakfast situation combined with the low quality mattress, the profound smell of cigarette smoke, the rude and obnoxious employees compels me to say, if you stay here you were forewarned.
