Amazing 1st time float! Owner called me after I booked. Was so kind and accommodating. Got there with a nice welcome! Did light therapy first...which was amazing and beneficial. Then went to the pod to float. Showered in a beautiful shower, got in the pod and just floated away! I can’t recommend Newport Float Therapy enough!

This float tanks are great, always nice and clean, staff is incredible. I moved away from the area and every time I'm in town I make sure to go in for a float. It's the best way to turn off from the outside world and relax and reconnect with your self. Always come out with a big smile :) This is a life changing experience. Thank you Newport Float!

I had never heard of floatation tank experiences until I read about it in Time magazine not too long ago. So, I took to the Internet to find out more, then looked up what might be available in Orange County, and discovered Newport Float Therapy. I contacted a friend to see if she might like to try this with me, and then made our appointments for early in August. We tried it, both liking it, and were back again for a second time just yesterday (Sept. 26, 2015). It isn't convenient for me to go there, as I live in Brea, but the benefits outweigh that inconvenience and I already have another appointment set for mid-October and will then be purchasing a series of floats because that way I know I'll schedule my time there at least monthly. This is such a unique experience for relaxation and truly getting away from the everyday hassles that we all live with. There are only two tanks, so only two people at a time can be served every two hours or so. The entire float appointment is for 90 minutes, giving you time to shower before to get rid of all body lotions, hair goo, etc., and afterwards to rinse off the accumulated salt from your skin and hair before dressing and heading back into the world. The float tank water is warm and very bouyant due to the use of lots of epsom salts, so you can't NOT float there--you just lie down on top of the water and rest. I will need a few more times before I can actually clear my mind sufficiently to meditate there, but the total darkness and quiet are like nothing you ever have around you in the city where there is ALWAYS noise of some kind and a hurrying from place to place. I LOVED IT! Maybe it will help my osteoarthritis but even if I get no real physical relief from that pain and discomfort, I have already gotten more than I expected just by having that quiet down time alone, without interruptions and with my own thoughts. The place is sparce in appearance--not at all glammed up like a high-priced spa--but it is very clean and comfortable throughout, which is more important for this type of a place where your naked body goes into a floatation tank that is used by other naked bodies. There is a tremendous cleaning station between the two float tanks which you will learn about on your first visit, as it's important that you know it IS clean. Ron, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating, and I'm expecting to have a long-term association with Newport Float Therapy because I like it so much. I currently get a 60- or 90-minute body massage twice monthly to help my arthritis pain and I figure adding another 90 minutes of monthly floatation therapy will be a great adjunct to my health regiment. The only thing I am a bit concerned about is that Newport Float Therapy will become so very popular that I'll eventually have trouble getting an appointment there!

Ron has become a good friend and his tanks are silent, 100% dark, the water is perfect temp and your experience will blow your mind. I cannot recommend his tanks & service highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

Unless you live a life completely stress free, this is the best thing ever invented. My God, I have never felt so relaxed in my life. Great business, tucked into a little hideaway in Costa Mesa with a great staff and waiting room. Also, I have visited other float places and found this one to be the cleanest and best maintained I have ever encountered. Ron is meticulous about the cleanliness and is willing to show you how the machinery works to put your mind at ease about hygiene. The isolation from the street noise, other businesses and even the other float booth keeps the experience pristine.
