NYC can feel so impersonal and that's why ASC was so important - a place to go to feel connected and safe and human. Joe is especially personable and welcoming and before long, I felt like I was a NY regular instead of visiting on business. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

Terrible service. The guy at the door was rude, pushing people. When I told him not to touch me he said “now leave, I rule this place” trying to humiliate me in front of my friends. Homophobic, just because he has muscles. I will never go back to that place again.

Apparently you cannot JUST stand in front of the Atlas Social Club or a super rude bouncer will come harass you until you either sit down or leave, even aggressively preventing you from entering the place. Guess what I did: I left and took my money elsewhere. How does that makes sense? Why do people put up with this weird sh*t?

I came here last night with my son and a friend of his. I wasEASILY the oldest person there, but everyone was lovely and welcoming from the bar staff to the DJ and the patrons as well. I would highly recommend this club. Thanks for the great memories….

We went to Atlas a few times while in NYC for a long weekend. This is a great spot with good drinks, great bartenders and a friendly crowd. There’s also a lovely seating area out front to enjoy the wonderful summer in the city weather. Will definitely return next time I’m in the city!
