We saw a great band called People Museum. They were amazing! Gasa Gasa is a small dive bar, nothing fancy, with a small stage for music performances. Standing room only. Arrive early for a good spot.

Cool space but the booker for this venue was extremely rude and unprofessional to us in multiple bands I’ve played with at Gasa Gasa when booking shows and during communication. Not only was the booker rude, but the sound guy very ineffectively turned everything up, and walked away from the sound board on our second song of the night both times we have played at the venue. Everything about playing at this venue is unorganized, messy, and worst of all, they treat their customer (our fans) in a terrible way, the staff does not want to help anyone, its like they dont even work there. Also this venue rips off local and touring acts even when they pack the house. I would strongly recommend not dealing with this staff's BS. Again, great space and location, but the management should seriously consider hiring some employees with respect for their job and the people the work with.

The booking agent Lindsey is the most unprofessional, difficult to communicate with person I have ever dealt with in the live music industry. She was very abrasive and rash when communicating over email about booking a show at Gasa Gasa, she was very rude/disrespectful to not only us, but our booking agent as well. While we love Ferret St, this is a spot we will surely avoid in the future, due to the attitude of their employees towards artists and guests.

Very nice small venue that plays a lot of music styles. Get off the beaten path of the French Quarter and give it a visit.

We saw Sweet Crude, Valerie Sassyfras, Boyfriend, Candy Snatch the drag queen, and a burlesque-style stripper there. I would highly recommend Gasa Gasa and Sweet Crude as well as Boyfriend as acts to see too! We bought tickets and I`m glad we did - the place was packed. The venue is standing only, but in our case we were so entertained that we hardly noticed. Who would want to sit for these acts anyway? I get the feeling that this type of evening is somewhat typical of Gasa Gasa. Our evening at Gasa Gasa was memorable and fantastic. I would go back in a heartbeat.
