tripadvisorAllow an hour. Do watch both videos and then read the walls and the documents on tables. Well, it was a short presidency so you can enjoy a short stay. He was an honorable man and I was a fan of hers.
MoreThis was the most disappointing presidential library we have seen. No one there to give any information, the memorabilia from his presidency was lacking. We finally located a security guard that was able to stamp our passport book of libraries.
MoreDespite the less than stellar reviews, we decided to stop by anyway due to the fact that visiting all the Presidential Libraries is on our bucket list. We spent about 15 minutes here. Highlights include portraits of both Gerald and Betty Ford, aTV showing Ford’s funeral, and his office there at the library.
MoreThe library is free to all, but this is really a working library and not like the museum in Grand Rapids. The library that is open to the public has a handful of exhibits that are on loan from the primary museum. If you are in the area and enjoy presidential history you should swing by. It is about a 30 minute time spend, so something nice and educational as you are hitting up Ann Arbor. I just would temper your expectations since this is really a small satellite library compared to the larger museum a few hours away.
MoreAlmost as exciting as .Gerald ford’s presidency. Nothing to see. Nothing to read. Nothing interesting around it.
