I’d give this place ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. The pics look nothing like rooms, the linens have holes. Water only gets like warm. Carper all torn up and is a tripping risk mirror in bathroom flaking big time. Day 2 had about 15 plus cop cars blocking the hotel toilet didn’t flush right and ran all the time. The staff was polite and pleasant that was the only plus.

Good enough for what we paid. Though we paid for a King and got a queen. The pool is permanently closed. Most of the doors either won't close or won't open. Also, there's a car in the parking lot on blocks! Keeping it classy. We paid for 3 nights but are forfeiting our last night just to get the heck out of here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! This place is worst than a hot sheet motel. Everything is dirty. The toilet didn't work, overfilled then took minutes to go back down each time attemped to flush. There was rust on the OUTSIDE of the refrigerator. The oven was dirty from overuse or just never cleaned. Found a clump, not a strand a clump of hair in the bed under the sheets. The closest door was missing. Mirror looked like it belonged in a halfway house, no framing and deteriorated at the bottom. Mold in the tub. The air conditioner worked after banging on it for several minutes. The outside of the door next to us looked like a crime occurred previously. Windows foggy or uncleaned one with unsecured locking latch and we were on the 1st floor. We checked in at 11:30pm so kinda had to stay but immediately checked out next morning.

This place is in bad shape. It is need in better management and/or a renovation. Our bathroom sink had no drain stopper so anything could fall right down the pipe. The tub hot/cold water indicator was backward, which took a few minutes to understand why the water was ice cold. The sofa bed is twin size…be warned. The shower leaked every time, so the bathroom baseboards were black and moldy with water damage. Elevator door doesn’t open unless you push the “open” button, which caused panic the first few times. The fitness center is tiny and not stocked with a sufficient supply of towels. The fridge in our room was full-size, but rusty and in need of replacement. The staff is very friendly and kind; wonderful midwestern charm. They are the only “wow” about this hotel. Its location is very close to a Walmart. The hotel is not indicative of the quality that Marriott usually puts forth.

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this hotel since I wasn’t familiar with the brand or the location. From the moment I arrived, however, it was clear that this place is a hidden gem. The suites are very spacious, the customer service is extraordinary, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. The hotel also offers safe, secure, free parking and is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive to downtown Detroit.I was especially impressed by the impeccable service provided by Lillie and Lanesse. From check-in onward, they were warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure I had a great stay. What stood out most was how consistently they treated every guest with the same level of care and attention. That kind of service is rare these days, and when you experience it, it’s truly refreshing.I loved my stay at this hotel and will definitely be back.
