Center for the Childbearing Year is Michigan's premier doula training and childbirth preparation community! Offering interactive childbirth classes at our cozy Ann Arbor center as well as comprehensive multi-media Online Childbirth Classes. Online classes enable expectant parents to customize their preparation for a first baby or take select "refresher" classes for a second (or more) baby. Dancing for Birth is our new pre/postnatal fitness class that fuses dance with essential birth wisdom and a support circle of pregnant women and new moms. Wear your baby and keep on dancing postpartum as well. Great (free) support groups for breastfeeding moms, bi-monthly Meet the Doulas events, a lending library and more are available. For women interested in becoming doulas, we will help you launch your dream career with DONA International birth and/or postpartum doula training and certification.
