tripadvisorThis is a great bar with an awesome patio. They have almost 90 beers on tap and more whiskey brands than I have ever seen at a bar. The outside patio is great to hang out on and the have several food trucks to get food from and enjoy with a cold beer. There are a few TVs that usually have sports on and they do have some inside seating but it’s small.
MoreHubby and I dropped off daughter at UNT, and decided to go celebrate our success in raising her!The beer was good and cold, just how it should be! I loved the variety of beers on tap. We will definitely be back when in town!
MoreToo many on tap beers to list, but something for everyone. Knowledgeable staff eager to answer questions and assist. All ages groups but primarily 20 - 30 's. Food trucks out back if you need a quick bite.
MoreAs you walk in the door of this bar, you notice the long bar to the side lined with draft beer taps and bottles of whiskeys. They have 85 beers on tap plus four cocktails and two wines in addition to canned beers and a full bar. My wife ordered a rose wine which was decent and I tried a Pilsner (#11) and their daily special (only $3!!) Mexican Brown Ale (#43). One wall displays the beer tap handles that are currently on draft. Several hundred other beer tap handles hang from the ceiling as decorations. They have a couple dart boards and a foosball table. They have a large back patio area that is dog-friendly and adjoins an area where several food trucks park.
MoreEastside is one of four craft beer bars near the Denton Square: Eastside, Bearded Monk, Oak St. Drafthouse and Denton County Brewery. Of the four, it's the only one that does not allow flights of beers, which is a shame. They have 80-90 beers on tap. Since they only allow single glasses of beer, there is no way to sample what they offer. Additionally, the beautiful patio allows smoking. If you can get past the smoke and no flights, this is a pretty cool place. There are two ways to experience the atmosphere. Inside, there is a full bar with taps hanging from the ceiling, on the walls and behind the bar. There are dartboards, games and plenty of seating. Out back is a very large gravel patio with dozens of picnic tables, warmers, games and food trucks. In nice weather, this is the place to be. The 4-5 food trucks parked around the parameter of the patio are a major bonus. I probably will not be back. It really is a nice place with an incredible breadth of craft beer offerings. I only drink a glass or two total before I'm done. Not allowing flights is a major negative for me. Be sure to use the Untappd Ap. This is a verified venue and their beers on tap are listed in the ap.
