MoreThis was always one of my fav places to grab a fantastic pizza, when I was in the local area. I would love to visit again. Thanks!(Date of visit, not exact)
MoreOk, I get it was the day of the Ann Arbor Monroe Street Fair, but one would expect additional staff to be brought in for the crowd. Food was excellent but waited over 15 minutes to be waited on, 30 minutes for two hamburgers, and had to beg for the check! People behind us left because they waited over 20 minutes for their water. Wouldn't go there again.
MoreFun college bar with mediocre food and beer. Better place to get drinks and watch a game than for dinner.
MoreUntil today, the last time I ate at the Brown Jug was in 1986. Visiting the University of Michigan campus with my wife and son, I thought of bringing them here. Although the actual Brown Jug resides at the University of Minnesota, the namesake restaurant still resides in the same location. We ordered a pizza and my family praised it! The pizza didn't taste exactly how I remember it, but it was a good pizza none-the-less. And, the restaurant is cheap. The 3 of us could dine for the price of 1 person eating at Zingeman's deli.
