Hilton Minneapolis Hotel

Though this hotel has the look and feel of the Victorian era, every aspect of it is modern. All rooms include voice mail, fax and a second telephone line in the bathroom. You will not have to go far for a good meal, either. The hotel offers the SkyWater restaurant for an evening of casual dining and Barron's Brew for a caffeine fix. Orchestra Hall, Nicollet Mall, and the Minneapolis Convention Center are just a short walk away.

Updated and modern hotel in central area. The room matched the updated vibe and was comfortable. The bar area and service was perfect. There is a bar with golf simulators too. The TV doesn’t connect to Netflix, YouTube or your phone and that’s a miss with an updated property. The breakfast buffet was not great for the price. Bacon was delicious but sausage not so much and the eggs were watery. Great hotel though overall

⭐ 1/5 Stars – Extremely Disrespectful and Unprofessional StaffI am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hilton Minneapolis. What should have been a comfortable and enjoyable stay turned into a very unpleasant experience because of the way I was treated by three individuals working at the hotel.Apparently, there had been a noise complaint involving another room that had over 18 people inside. When I stepped out of my room, I noticed three individuals standing in the hallway. I simply asked what was going on, and instead of receiving a respectful explanation, I was immediately told to go back inside my room.To make matters worse, they accused me of being drunk and acted as though I was the problem, even though I had nothing to do with the situation. When I tried asking questions, they rudely told me to go back into my room and said they weren’t talking to me.I found their behavior extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. As a paying guest, I should be able to ask a simple question without being spoken to in such a degrading manner or having assumptions made about me.Hilton is supposed to represent hospitality and professionalism, but the behavior of these three individuals was anything but that.I would strongly encourage hotel management to review how their staff communicate with guests and address situations like this. Nobody paying to stay at a hotel deserves to be treated with such disrespect.Very disappointing experience. I expected much better from Hilton.

Great experience here. Mohammed from security went beyond above and beyond to help me out. World class guy. This location is lucky to have staff like that

For more than $300 per night, I expected better. I travel A LOT for work and this is by far the most expensive hotel I’ve stayed at and it was so lacking… The rooms look nothing like the photos online, it was dark, dirty and in need of a major upgrade. *see photos* Stains on the furniture, carpet, walls and lamps. Dust and dirty fingerprints on surfaces. All I could think is if I were spending my own money on this I would be devastated. The lobby was gorgeous and very clean and modern. Front desk staff were very helpful and professional and valet was super quick and super kind. So you can imagine the disappointment when I got to my room. Also, I wish there had been a smart TV.

Five star stay!! We stayed in Minneapolis for a convention in this hotel & was pleased from when we arrived, the entire time & when we left! It’s a massive Hilton with an impressive 25 floors. We stayed on the top floor. Beautiful large lobby with great natural light.Hotel amenities: 5/5 - On the 2nd floor, it offered a nice sized pool & nice gym & sauna (first hotel in awhile that has more than just dumbells. Actually had weight training equipment to get a decent work out in)All of the ballrooms / conference rooms we used during the convention were always clean & organized nice even with the large amount of people staying here. Lobby / floor bathrooms were spotless clean at all times.Room: 5/5 - Our room had the most STUNNING city view. Great to watch sunset from. Decent king bed. Large walk in shower. The typical desk set up/extra sofa chair in the room. Room was very clean when we arrived which is always appreciated.Parking: 5/5 - They offer a large attached parking garage. It was very easy to navigate during our week stay. You can purchase a in & out pass for about $100 for the entire week. Allows you to come & go from garage with an easy ticket scan coming & going. Each floor had an easy sign to follow to the elevators which brought you back up to the lobby. Made our trip super flawless to come & go from our hotel during the days- and an easy return back to park at the end of the day. We just saved the parking garage address pin on our Google Maps & returned back to the garage after our day exploring with our car. Even during a large convention (I think the entire hotel was booked out) we always found parking between floors 1-3.We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton in the downtown. The hotel was clean from our room to the entire hotel. Hotel gym was great to use and the entire parking garage experience made the stay even easier!Super bonus for the amazing room view on the 25th floor!
