Ugh. I hate my rat. He kicked me!!!

This motel has some very unfair probably out of date reviews. It is a budget option, a simple motel which does not do meals, but I found it clean, quiet, everything fully functional, and the location very convenient for downtown Detroit. Staff helpful. A good find.

While I appreciated the convenient location, friendly staff, functional wifi, HDTV cable TV, reasonably comfortable bed, fridge + microwave in the room and decent hot water, I did not appreciate the mould, ants, roaches, hard to regulate temperature (it was always either too hot or too cold), evidence of decay that was painted over, broken furniture, the giant gap under the door that brought cold air in (and also giant outside bugs), dirty floors and the $100 per night price. Plus, the city condemned part of the property because it's falling apart. I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton, but I was expecting better than this. I'll let you make your own decision on whether or not to stay here, but I never will again.

Very shabby and old. Naked wires outside.No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Very noisy AC. Squeaky door. No mesh on the windows.No breakfast.A lot of channels on TV.Fridge and a microwave. Wifi.Not very expensive compared to other hotels nearby

Decent place to stay. Clean sheets, no bugs, beds fine. Nothing fancy. Close to Little Ceasars Arena and MGM CASINO. Exterior clean, Obviously has Seen better days, but for the price it's OK.Bring your own soap etc.
