The folks at the front desk were really lovely and acommodating which is why there are two stars. The hallways in this place look, well, creepy. Hello? Jack? Ice maker's broken, the smell in the room was so bad I had to put menthol under my nose. I think the rugs may have never been cleaned. The one thing that was hopeful is that the bed looked very clean and it was as comfortable as I couId have hoped for in this environment. Midland is part of the oil fracking boom so most rooms around are sickeningly over priced at almost $300 or more for a Hilton Garden Inn or the like because corporate America will pay and is screwing things up for people just traveling point a to point b. This place was about $130+ ... after a very long day of driving, I'll put my head down then get the #$%@ out early.

If you like wasting your time and exposing yourself to all sorts of diseases from rodents, this is the place to go. I think a better description for this hotel is “Pay-By-The-Hour” due to us checking out after only two hours of being there. The staff did not help us and lied saying the general manager would be there in the morning. What a surprise. One room was covered in cigarette burns, broken furnishings, and a gross bathroom. We’ve contacted corporate because we’ve been denied a refund twice. 0/10.
