tripadvisorThis is a great park to bring your young and older children to do. There’s stuff for everyone to do no matter the age. There’s ducks that my kids loved to feed and plenty of good fishing spots. They also have paddle boats you can rent during the summer. The playground is great for all ages.
MoreWe enjoyed bird watching & walking here. The dog park area was nice for exercising the dog. Plenty of parking was available.
MoreWas there Christmas day with my daughter, it is a very nice park. It has a lake, and a good location.
MoreWe had many errands to do around Lexington, so this was a fantastic midday break spot for us and our dog. The dog park was clean and full of friendly pups and owners. Pretty walking paths, water and lined tall pines for a picture spot.
MoreWe took our three kids here, twins aged seven and our son age 9. They have a nice big splash pad that the kids really loved, and afterwords went to play on the playgrounds. There’s multiple playgrounds for different ages, and our kids loved it! There is enough to keep kids entertained for probably two hours. There’s also a small lake or maybe a big pond, with paddle boats and it looked like there was a concession stand. We did not go over there but it was all very well-maintained. The park itself is huge, there are big rolling fields. Recommended to let the kids blow off their energy! Plenty of parking. Bathrooms. Picnic tables. (We stopped in Lexington overnight to break up a road trip from Gatlinburg Tennessee to Chicago so this was a one time experience, but it was fantastic.)
