Point Fermin Park Park

This is a great place to stop during any drive on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Highlights include a Victorian lighthouse, coin-operated telescopes, a whale-watching station and an amphitheater sometimes used for outdoor plays. Set on 37 acres, the park is set atop a cliff that provides great views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island on a clear day. There are picnic tables and barbecue grills also.

Point Fermin Park is a cute little park with a lighthouse and picturesque views. Those fond of LA trivia will be interested to know that Charles Bukowski lived in the Point Fermin area. The Sunken City, the officially verboten to enter city that fell into the ocean in '29 which neighbours Point Fermin, was featured on The Walking Dead and the film Chinatown, is now a common site for Instagram & TikTok selfies, and music video shoots.

Who doesn't like a walk in the park? Point Fermin Park in San Pedro is a nice one. Beautiful view of the ocean. Plenty of parking available. If you get tired of walking, there are benches and picnic tables to sit at. Lots of green open space and lots of shaded space also. Coolest thing to me is that the Point Fermin Lighthouse is located here. Anytime we are in San Pedro. Point Fermin Park is a place we will go to.

Beautiful, peaceful, historical park. Beautiful view of the ocean. Birdwatching is easy as flocks of pelican and various species can be seen. Friendly staff. Restrooms. Plenty of room for my dog to run, chase birds, and bark. Safe for families. Be aware of scammers (Lovely Lotus Tarot) targeting children soliciting tarot card reading and selling evil eye bracelets. Report suspicious activity to LAPD. Keep our park and visitors safe.

Very nice park. Look to the west and you see the shipping approach lanes for the busy ports of Los Angeles in Long Beach.
