Room was clean, but the bathroom had terrible smell. My first thought was urine on the floor, but then realized there was a drain in the floor and that it might be sewer smell. It was bad. Just there one night. I didn't realize it was pet friendly when I booked the room. I was assured the rooms were deep cleaned after each stay. We walked in and first thing there were used towels in the bathroom. Breakfast was not appealing to us.

I missed my initial reservation due to a breakdown on my way, but made it in the next day. Very friendly front desk staff, room was clean, no complaints from me for this visit.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and ended up in a extremely hot room with a king and pull out. That is Not what we reserved. Why bother reserving a room if they are just going to give it to someone else. Won’t stay here again. When asked why we didnt get what we reserved we were told they gave it to someone else and this is all that is left.

I made a reservation with my Family and Friends account and I called the hotel to add my husband's name as he was arriving 1st, Paul who took my call stated he was not able to as per his managers that night and hotel policy that no names or modifican an be done to a family and friend reservation which is totally incorrect. I continue explaining to him that yes I can add a name, we went back and forth and then he informed me he has added the name with hopes he wont get in trouble. To my knowledge he added the name but when my husband arrived guest what his name was not added and was given a hard time at check in telling him his name was not on the reservation. This property needs a training on how family and friends reservation work. Team member reservation the employee has to be at the property and provide their ID and then add a name if they want. There is the difference.

We saw a few bad reviews as we were driving so we were a little apprehensive but on arrival we were very pleased. The hotel has been updated and was very nice. Jay at the desk was very friendly and helpful as well as Chastity with housekeeping and Sharon who served breakfast. Our room was very clean and roomy. Breakfast was delicious with great variety. We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. Location was perfect with so many places to eat nearby. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in Shreveport.
