My husband and I have family in Lansing, and we found the Wild Goose Inn in East Lansing a couple of years ago. It's the only place we will stay when we visit. There is so much care taken in the atmospheric details of each room -- what a treat! MSU is a 5 minute walk away, as are restaurants, coffee cafes, art galleries .... We relax as soon as we open the front door, knowing we are in good hands with Al, Paul, and the staff. Tasty breakfasts to start the day, and if you need a suggestion on what to see and do, these Michiganders are in the know. If you are looking for something more personal than the average hotel stay, I can't say enough to recommend the Wild Goose Inn.

We stayed in the Wild Goose Inn for 4 nights whilst visiting family in Williamston. The previous reviews were a stand out, along with the individuality of the rooms. We were not to be disappointed, we were met by Al and his dog Yogi and shown to our chosen room Autumn Arbor. The room was very comfortable, exceedingly interesting and decorated to a very high standard by Al, who is happy to explain the more unusual features such as the leaves on the ceiling and the map outside the door.Breakfast was great, especially the omelettes and a fresh muffin. The hotel is right next to the car park (parking lot) where a free ticket for exit is provided. Next time we visit the area we will definitely stay here again, but maybe try another of the amazing rooms!!Mark & Carol

What a fabulous place! We had 12 of us in town for a bachelorette weekend. All six rooms are wonderfully appointed and have unique touches that make it a very special place to stay. The service was top notch and the breakfast was really great. Everyone really enjoyed the Inn and we all want to come back and stay again.
