The room is excellent nice in and clean the pillowcases the bedsheets everything clean crystal white air-conditioning and heat built-in actually works shower great shower not too hot not too cold. Large, spacious room with kitchenette. King bed comfortable with average linens. Clean bathroom. Carpet older and stained. Dated furnishings. Only needed a room for a night and there weren’t a lot of choices in Holt. This worked for us. Reservations are made off site, a little annoying. No one there for check in when we arrived, but he arrived quickly after phone call. Area was quiet and seemed aafe on a Saturday night. I’d rate it average overall.

I really don't know what I was thinking to book a $52 motel room. I guess I thought we will arrive late, leave early, get a little sleep. I would have rather slept in the car. Old, worn out, flea market furniture, uncomfortable beds, flying bugs in the kitchen area. Extra room with an open door storing junk and trash. Yuk!

Old, run down property that has seen better days. Big rooms, reasonable housekeeping, friendly staff, no coffee in rooms or restaurant on premises, but microwave and fridge in the room. Can park outside your door. No soap in the bathroom, but did have 50-inch tv and free fast internet. The bed was not very comfortable. I had already passed Holt on my way to Illinois. I was probably 30mins east but had by my own error booked the hotel on booking.com. I was really unhappy when I couldn't cancel and needed to backtrack my path. The owner was understanding and accommodating for my late arrival. There are a couple of late night gas stations and fast food nearby.
