There's a wonderful (new ?) venue to see tremendous collegiate acting talent in Norfolk! This company has already presented some of the finest examples of visual and performing arts, such as: The Wiz--electrifying! The Parchman Hour--galvanizing! Fences---thought-provoking! Color Purple--exhilarating! These students have demonstrated confidence in their natural abilities to perform, entertain and enthrall the audience, full commitment to be the best part of the play possible and mutual respect to their craft and each other.Due to the stupendous efforts of Professor Stockard, Artistic Director, and his staff, incoming drama students will be able to pursue a B.S. in Theatre Arts for the 2018-2019 school year! Congratulations, NSU!The Mainstage Theater in G.W.C Brown Memorial Hall is a cozy, warm and not-a-bad-seat-in-the-house with a sort of up-close-and-personal ambience. The entrance and lobby are bright and welcoming and the box office is very accommodating. The play's the thing...come and see why I highly recommend the Norfolk University Theatre Company for you to enjoy it.
