Very nice trails and a covered picnic area. Recommend wearing shoes and socks and long pants to protect from all the poison ivy along and sometimes in the trail. We went with family and even had a stroller for a baby. Not the easiest on the trails but doable. Would definitely visit again.

I have been visiting Woldumar since I was in grade school, and my daughter has attended camp there whlie she was in grade school. Wonderful organization that educated and protects nature. We have volunteered here on numerous occasions and always enjoy walking through the wood.

Woldumar Nature Center is tucked just out of the way enough on the southwest side Lansing to feel like you are out of the city. They have nice, well kept trails and is a good place to go for a walk. They even have an area for outside weddings. Woldumar has e a great staff who loves nature and keeping the place looking good. It is also a great place for an elementary field trip.

These are some of the best trails in the area. Bring your dog, but please keep it on a leash! Don't ruin the ability to have leashed dogs here for the rest of us!

I love Woldumar! I've been here a handful of times during a month-long stay in Lansing for work and this was the perfect way to stretch my legs and wind down my day. Even on the nicest summer days you won't run into many other people, the parking lot isn't crowded and those you do see are friendly and usually accompanied by adorable puppies! :)
