tripadvisorCame down for a wedding, the room was clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a quick stay over. The gift shop could have a few more options for snacks and drinks but it was fine. The hotel could use a little maintenance, but overall it was okay.
MoreRoom was clean and tidy. Had a good A/C unit quiet and easy to control. The room was spacious and the bathroom was laid out well. The negative was the breakfast. Powdered eggs , cheap sausage and no bagels. The staff was polite and helpful. We will stay here again.
MoreTraveling to Texas from florida we wanted to stop at a comfort in. Due to it being close by the freeway we could easily just hop on and go in the morning that is one perk we love .As traveling we called Denham springs comfort inn let them know we would like a room and that we found one for $85.00 . The lady on the phone let us know she was by Hone depot. The comfort in. Has no signs in the sky so for one you have to really look for it does not stand out As arriving to the hotel there was no one at the front desk there was a sign that said that the rep stepped away from the desk , I waited 20 min for someone I said hello anyone here we are needing a room the older lady came out and said I was on the phone with my friend . I said I called earlier about the room she said oh yes when we arrived she rang me up to $145 I said we called and she said that is the price online , my 80 year old mother said will just go out to our car and purchase that the old lady rep from the hotel said yea go to your car and then we can change your price . That is rude very disappointed in her behavior where’s the customer service at we called and spoke to her and for her to tell my 80 year old mother to go and purchase the room in the hot weather is disappointing. After that we went to our room we should have gone somewhere else . The room had roaches all over the floor in the bathroom crawling up the wall and some on the ac unit . Then when I took a shower there was someone else’s hair on the shower wall and in the tub it doesn’t look like they take care of their customers or their rooms . Very disappointing to have experienced this while being here at the hotel . The rep in front the older lady had no compassion no love very hard and rude . I hope she sees this and knows I’ll be praying for her .

MoreIf I were you, I would look for another place to stay. I had the opportunity to stay here last week, the first weekend in April with my son. As soon as you walk in the hotel there is a very distinctive smell and not a good one. Once receiving my room keys we headed to up to our room. Each floor had at least two big humidifiers in the hallway because the smell continued throughout the hotel. After arriving to my room the shower had long black strands of hair all on the walls, the backboard to the bed was pealing, (it was vinyl) and also had stains from the vinyl on the chair to the desk was completely pealed off. You would not want to touch it. When I spoke with the front desk agent to receive a refund bc I did not want to stay at this locati, she became very rude and discourteous. She looked up my reservation and stated I booked thru Expedia and she could not do anything about being charged. I informed her that I didn’t book thru them I used the hotel website and proceeded to show her the confirmation email. She still proceeded to tell me I was lying, I used Expedia. I spoke with the general manager on Monday about my whole ordeal and Debbie informed me she had to speak with the front desk agent bc it was clearly in the computer that I didn’t book thru Expedia and only offered me 1000 points. This is unacceptable.
