This is a beautiful park that is well Kept up. The disc golf course offers 18 challenging holes! Great for friends family or even alone

We love to Mushroom hunt here and it has great trails to walk and different types of woods and cover types. They also have a disc golf course and they sell the disks in the main office as well as Gatorade. They have trail maps in the office also. The trails are marked by color. They have nice clean bathrooms and multiple covered pavilion 's. There is also a kids play set and sand box. The trails connect to St. Pats park in Indiana just over the state line.

Gorgeous park with something for everyone! Frisbee golf, volleyball, fishing on the St Joe River, biking or hiking on the scenic trails are just a few of the summer activities afforded by this treasure in Niles. Winter allows for cross-country skiing on groomed trails.

I made a stop at Bertrand Park for a hike one afternoon. There is one loop that goes around the whole park and it's a decent hike. Not challenging by any means, but it is pretty and for me, it was pretty secluded. I felt further away from civilization than I actually was, which was the whole point of going. It was peaceful and for the couple of dollars that it cost, very much worth it. If you want some better, more challenging trails, head up to Buchanan and visit Fernwood.

My wife's high school holds an annual all-school reunion here. Very neat, clean, and well maintained park. Something for everyone. Hiking, picnicking, disc golf, etc. Nominal daily entry fee. No alcohol allowed. Plenty of rentable pavilions to use for your group.
