tripadvisorWe went for a house concert, and stayed to view the art. This is a nice gallery in downtown Lowell, that aalso hosts other events. This is a good place to check out what Michigan artists are doing.
MoreThere is a little bit of everything here. It's a great spot to see amazing art but also to purchase unique gifts. Fancy trying your hand at painting? Take a class! They offer something for all ages.
MoreThe new art center Is located at 223 West Main St. Much bigger space, better parking, and more activities planned. For a small town, LowellArts! Is an unique avenue for showcasing local artists! A visible art center that sponsors free summer concerts, the Fallasburg festival every autumn, art hops, two dinner theaters, children plays and many other activities throughout the year. A definite must go and visit.
MoreWho knew that little Lowell hosted such an extensive arts community, in so many ways, led by Lowell Arts? Directed by Lorain Smalligan--a powerhouse in her own right, Lowell Arts features not only art galleries with interesting exhibitions, it supports arts in the community--not only visual but performing as well. The gallery is moving to a new and far better location on Main St.. Can't wait to see what they do with it!
MoreLowell Arts brings a wide variety of wonderful art experiences to this western Michigan small town. They are currently in the midst of a capital campaign and will be moving to a new location on Main Street later this fall. The new location will feature a larger gallery as well as a small performance space along with much needed parking nearby!
