This place puts the dive in Dive Bar. An amazing fossil from before the Bridge Street gentrification project. I hope this place lasts forever. Sit near the front if you can. The closer you are to the rest room, the more pungent the smell. Classic!

How can you not like the Anchor? Great dive bar in downtown GR. If you grew up around GR its more than likely you have some fond memories at the Anchor.

Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, great drinks for good prices. Perfect spot to hangout and watch a game or just hang with friends.

This is your classic neighborhood bar. Surprisingly excellent drinks. I wish I could remember the name of the bartender, as she was outstanding. Fun, knowledgeable and she made me a perfect martini for a very reasonable price. Give the Anchor Bar a try!

Always gross to have a bathroom where apparently the door sticks and doesn't fully close so the patrons at the table nearby not only can see the lack of stalls but can tell that both the toilet and urinal were in use. Then got to watch as both men finished and didn't wash their hands. Best part was that on the way from the bathroom to their table one guy put his hands in the popcorn machine. Gag.
