One if the very few that I’ve had that offer a nicely seasoned beading. Crisp breading seals in juicy fish - either perch or wallet. Served in abundance with choice of potato and coke slaw. I’ve seen people on there coming from Milwaukee and waiting over one to two hours to eat it. First time there I said nothing could be worth waiting that long but then I tried their fish. Now a regular. Go early, write your name in the whiteboard and hover around the large bar in case something opens up there- which usually happens. Dive bar ambience but great staff and wonderful fish!!!

I expected little. It was just a place to kill a little time while waiting for my rental car place to open again. (be warned 90 minute lunches at Alamo). I walked in and it was a dive bar. I sat at the bar and paid no attention to the specials I just ordered a BLT thinking, they could not mess that up. Oh My it was so perfect. Big puffy lettuce, good tomatoes, plenty of mayo and excellent bacon on toasted rye. With that I had some of the best onion rings I have ever had in my life. Whilst dealing with wrong reservations and being distracted they brought over a bite of the fried cod, better than any I had ever had and yes, that included London. This little place with the kind staff was the best thing that happened to me all day.

Best fish I have ever had! This is a bar and a busy one at that. We were packed in like sardines. Your lucky if you can find parking in the lot. There is no hostess so head to the back of the bar and write your name on the whiteboard for a table. Over an hour wait. We decided to just sit at the bar and got served right away once a spot opened up. The bartender John was attentive and made good drinks. We were then rewarded with the best fish I have ever had!!! I had the cod and the bf had perch. Comes with delicious fries, coleslaw, and roll.

It doesnt get anymore Wisconsin than this. Its a bar, with one of the best fish fry's I have ever had. Perch to die for. Old Fashioned that'll put a hair or two on your chest. Service was fantastic. Did I mention the fish? Yeah...it was that good. Next time round Im getting the walleye.
