Alex was our waiter. He did a tremendous job. We had espresso martinis and the charcuterie board. It was all excellent. There is a piano player in the afternoon (Saturday) and it was great! The room was also pretty busy! A real treat.

What an amazing night of music and cocktails with friends.we arrived “late” and were seated immediately. We did not have full view of the stage but could hear the music perfectly. The snack!! Crisp potato chips and the most delicious old fashioned ever.

The atmosphere was amazing. The jazz music was lively. The drinks were simply superb. It was also in walking distance from the Marquee. Definitely recommend. This lounge was in the Ritz Carlton.

A very enjoyable finish to three evenings after dinner out in the French Quarter during Mardi Gras. It was great to get away from the revellers for a couple of hours and we enjoyed several glasses of decent pink champagne in comfort whilst listening to the Jeremy Davenport quintet and joined others on the dance floor a couple of times.Just what was needed. If the front door of the Ritz Carlton is unattended and locked for a few minutes, go around to the side door where security will let you through to the lifts for this third floor jazz lounge.

While staying at the Ritz in New Orleans we stopped in here one evening prior to heading out for our dinner reservations. We actually came in on Superbowl Sunday and they were packed, but we were able to grab a couple of seats at the bar. Service was decent, but a little slow and not as friendly/down-to-earth as we expect when visiting a bar. They do offer a decent cocktail menu and an adequate wine list. They have a TV for sports and on this night, they brought in two big TVs to put on the soundstage for folks to watch the game.Their home made potato chips are nice, definitely tasty! Cocktails are rather basic, so we ended up getting wine instead of another cocktail. We came in a night later after dinner and did the same… interestingly enough, the experience was similar too.Adequate is a decent way to describe this bar.
