The Music In The Junction is really fun on Thursdays. Live music and a street market in the summer months. This the older and original part of West Des Moines.

Went on a Sunday memorial weekend, so many shops weren’t open. I found a lot of cute stores and bought a number of things. Gift shops were interesting with a mixture of items. Antique stores were very full and fun to walk through.Good mix of stores and restaurants with something for everyone from ice cream and candy to booze in the bars.

This place is an Oasis in a desert of urban sprawl. It's has all the positive aspects of bustling small town Iowa nestled in otherwise boring suburbia. And if you believe variety is the spice of life, this place has it. You have to experience Valley Junction to believe it.

Love Coopers in the Junction, the staff, food and drinks were on point this last Saturday evening. Get their homemade pub chips and a side of creamy parm, to die for!
