Nice trails and nice people around, but many don’t care to keep up after their pets. You can walk from here to Gateway Island with much effort, but I wouldn’t recommend bringing your pet along for that. Free parking and admission.

maybe it was the time of year but there wasn't any grass- just dust for the dogs to play in. The other dog owners really didn't want to talk to anyone. Most of them just stared at their phones.

The area where the actual dogs were at was loaded with poop landmines. It's like NO ONE was picking up poop. We actually took our dog to the field area behind the fence that is in between the park and the trail. Much cleaner, and a nice place for her to run
