Absolutely wonderful place to spend a day shopping, not the prettiest place and doesn't the biggest selection of stores, but for Cedar rapids/Marion standards it's great!

Westdale has been transformed from a 70's interior mall with dated stores to a brand new 74 acre retail development with lots of restaurant choices, lots of stuff for humans, and a great store for your furry friends. Also, one of Hilton's newest concept hotels, TRU by Hilton, is the first is NE Iowa. Look for more neat stuff to come!

This mall looks like a government project. Meaning it will take forever to get it done. The biggest hit it took is when Von Moir not the dust here.

Its a nice new shopping area. They basically imploded the middle section of the mall and left the chain stores standing and then filled in around with restaurants and other new stores. Plenty of parking, It's a decent shopping area.
