We drove to this lock with our motor home to meet friends who are sailing South to the Bahamas.The lock master was very helpful. He gave us permission to park on the grass by the canal and spend the night , under the trees. We could BBQ in front of our camper and eat on our friend' boat.The location was clean and well maintained. We were surprised by the hospitality of this public servant.
