This hotel is under construction. Significantly. There are gaping manholes in the middle of the hotel that you overlook as you walk to your hotel room quite the distance since most elevators are out of service. I'm talking you see the ground, earth, dirt, and open pipes that open up to the center of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and decent enough, but the lighting is too dim. The fitness room is a few treadmills moved into a small room. The staff are very nice and gave plentiful complimentary water. But honestly, they should probably shut this hotel down until renovations are done because the stay conditions are not great. It feels like staying in an apocalyptic war zone.

Woolleys had always been my go-to respite spot when traveling to the Denver area. The waterfall atrium and spa type bathrooms made the hotel a top choice. My recent visit this October was anything but a respite. In fact, I would describe it as a cross between a war zone and haunted hotel. The entire atrium, with waterfall, streams and greenery had been demolished. Dust lingered in the air. There was no restaurant to purchase food; sandwiches at the check-in area were stale. Parking - which I had to pay for - was atrocious. I could not even turn into a parking spot I desired because of hotel vehicles blocking the way. No staff knew what type of renovation was occurring, but it was suggested I come back in March. I don't think so. I will not be back in March - nor in the future. I paid close to $300. for this overnight nightmare. I find it hard to believe this hotel would even consider having humans staying at this structure with the condition it is in.

Free shuttle was quick and easy. Staff seemed disinterested. Place is definitely under major construction but even with our 1st floor room they were pretty quiet on Wednesday morning. We had brown paper over our doors facing atrium and they did not close properly . We stayed at a 5 star downtown the next night but we both agreed the beds, pillows and towels (huge bath sheets) were way better here. We both crawled under covers and slept like rocks! Toiletries are take home quality. Restaurant, pool and bar are all closed but other hotels and restaurants nearby to get food. Bought a $4 Coke in lobby and every can was dented or bottom pushed out like it had been frozen. 12’ tall ceilings, giant deep tub, double sink vanity, outside bar sink with coffee maker etc. TV was ok. We wanted to watch MLB playoffs on Peacock which was impossible unless we had brought our own HDMI cables but Netflix and YouTube and a couple other streaming services were available. Bring blocks to charge things. Only usb on clock radio did not work. Room phone dead. Refrigerator did not work. When on hold you have to listen to how great the pool bar etc must have been. They really should acknowledge the construction situation better. If you just need a comfortable brace to sleep and bathe this place is fine. Not 4 stars with construction. We complained but we’re not offered a complimentary breakfast

While the room was clean and staff very friendly, they underplay the renovations on their website. It's major construction in the middle of the hotel. They have plastic hanging everywhere, and the atrium is literally down to dirt (not exaggerating...it's just dirt in the middle of the hotel). The restaurant is closed and while they offer a small breakfast in a conference room, they charge for it. The front desk clerk was kind enough to give me a free breakfast coupon for the inconvenience, but they didn't offer that to all guests, which seems unfair. The shuttle was great (both my drivers were incredibly friendly), and I do hope to try Wolley's again....in 1 year (that's when they said the construction would be done).

This is the worst hotel experience we ever had. It was not disclosed before booking that they were under renovation. We booked because the pictures looked gorgeous. The hotel is a construction site with loud jack hammering and literal welder was right outside our room at 8am in the morning. Unhealthy to breath the air in the hotel- my boyfriend has asthma and this is a legitimate health concern. This hotel should not be operating in current state. Staff dismissed our concerns saying they can sell rooms so they will stay open. They are selling rooms without disclosing the extent of construction. This is not a pardon our dust situation- this is a full fledged Demolition zone with some rooms sprinkled in. They are still charging a ridiculous high price despite the craziness and falsely advertising level of disruption. Do not stay here
