Getting charges that didn’t even posted online paid airport fees and we drove also was charged for parking per day the TVs were out dated the room was dirty and had ants the pull out bed had stains and still dirty all around the front desk staff was good and friendly but let them know about the situation but didn’t offer discount or any resolution

This is not a hotel to consider. The pictures you see online were taken 20+ years ago and do not represent the state of this hotel. I think it’s the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Even the pool was disgusting which I was hoping would be a respite. Room was dusty and really seemed haunted, like no one had entered it in years. The staff were nice but almost resigned to the horribleness. For example they kind of *knew* not to ask how my stay was when I was checking out. The fact that this room was $200+ is frankly a crime. It was a $30 room if that.

Not what I would have expected at a Hilton hotel. Room was so-so clean, there was no USB connection, no refrigerator, lamp was rusty and the TV was difficult to manage. Entry door was seriously impinged making it difficult to open. The hotel accused me of breaking it ($150 fee) without notice... fortunately I had that corrected, but the idea that they would even do that is disturbing. If it wasn't for the location to the airport, I would never recommend it!

Pay a little bit more to stay here and enjoy the big difference. Everything was better here: the water pressure in the shower was actually good, proximity to the airport meant we walked there in 5 minutes instead of waiting for a shuttle or paying for an uber, the free breakfast was actually good, not just thawed pastries and bad coffee. I think it was about $30 more per night than our other hotel, but it was worth it by far.

I am writing this review of the Hyatt Place Pensacola Airport because future guests deserve to know the full picture. If you are reading reviews about the loud air conditioning and the neglected condition of the hotel, I must sadly confirm that they are accurate. The property definitely shows its age and needs updates. However, the location is unbeatable. It offers excellent proximity to the airport, the beautiful local beaches, and the I-10 interstate. It is also incredibly convenient to Cordova Mall, plus plenty of nearby shops and restaurants. A huge shoutout is owed to the front desk team: Erial, Smiley, and Jacob. They were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and professional during our stay. It is clear that this staff does the absolute best they can with the situation they are given and circumstances entirely out of their control. As for our accommodations, our room was clean upon our arrival. However, I always travel with my own cleaners and sanitize hotel rooms upon checking in anyway. I did this as a precaution, and the room held up well. Overall, the staff and location are the shining stars here, and the team deserves immense credit for maintaining great customer service in a less-than-ideal building!
