We walked Brady several times, both East and West from our vrbo on N Marshall St. at all times we found delicious food and bars, friendly folk and businesses. First night we were starved and had zero expectations as we stopped in this bar called St. Bibliana. The food was absolutely delicious. First day we walked toward the river, over the bridge to Lakefront Brewery. We had a delicious brunch at Wolfies farm to table restaurant. Next day we walked east, had stopped at Peter Sciortino bakery which was awesome, and then went to a restaurant another block or two east, which had omelet bakery treats things. So no, there was no scary activity going on, lots of great food, bars, restaurants, Italian markets, even had gelato, yes please

A whole lot of disruptive behaviors. Climbing on a firetruck and cars. Fighting in the street. This area has become lawless. I would definitely avoid it in the evening and nighttime. It's just not safe. The unrulyness happens regularly.

Brady Street offer a nice mix of shops. Sciortino's Bakery and Glorioso's Market are staples and must visits. You can window shop and there are plenty of bars and restaurants.

We had a great time walking around and viewing the buildings and sights of Old Milwaukee. We love history.
