MPT offers excellent shows and attracts talent from a long distance including Chicago. We have yet to be disappointed at any production. The Performing Arts Center was built by a school district known for hugely expensive building projects and boasts very good acoustics

We have seen good shoes here.. today sadly was not one of those times. My first gripe is that the show always starts late here. This time it was yen minutes after scheduled time that it finally started. The show itself had some really bizarre casting choices as several male parts were played by women but that's not really a review of the theater itself. The real problem was the microphones crackling alot during the end of the first act and the entirety of the second. The lighting choices also were extremely odd. It almost seemed as if the spotlight operator was unsure who to spotlight at times. The seats in this theater are quite comfortable and give a decent amount of leg room. Just hope they at minimum get their mic issues sorted out.

We have found that we can get as much enjoyment going to a Middleton Players Theatre production as we would going to Milwaukee, Chicago or even downtown Madison. The choice of plays is excellent. The actors are professional and the venue is well maintained with god acoustics. The best part is that you can do this at a reasonable price. Tickets are generally under $30 and if you tie that in with one of the local restaurants in Middleton, you can have dinner and a show for around $100 or slightly more. Our only regret is that we didn't start going sooner.
