tripadvisorAmeristar is a clean, well lit, enjoyable casino. Good variety of slots, both older favorites and new ones. Free sodas easily available, atmosphere filled with energy, and people enjoying themselves. We will go back on our next KC trip!
MoreVery disappointed in the room. Super tiny fridge, no microwave, and the bed was VERY uncomfortable. We booked the room online. The nearly $23 a day RESORT FEES are basically a way to rip people off. You get NOTHING in return for paying the fees.
MoreGreat motel. Extremely clean and comfortable. The atmosphere there made you feel like you were in Vegas. Can't wait to go back!!!
MoreThis place is garbage. They just keep shutting restaurants down with only a couple to choose from and they're trash. The slots are so tight it's unbelievable. Hard to believe you can put $100 in a machine, bet $1.20 and get no bonuses and this consistent with all the slots. Just a trashy casino. Do yourself a favor and go to harrahs down the street.
MoreDisclaimer - we don't gamble, so walking through the Casino was interesting, but that was about it. The hotel was clean, a little dated. Not sure we'd stay again. I didn't realize it wasn't really walkable to anything.
