Madison Children's MuseumMadisonInappropriate flag displays for a children’s space, won’t be back1014080747The museum itself is okay and on the small side. We’ve been to better, we’ve been to worse. Nothing here blew me away at all, but my child seemed to enjoy himself for about 3 hours. I’m giving it a 1-star review because of that and the fact that the first thing we saw upon entering were all the flags representing alternative adult lifestyles. In a children’s museum. A space specifically designed and designated for little kids. I find this more than a little odd and inappropriate.

Wonderful and must do if you have younger kids(ours are 4&10). Lots of fun things to see and do there! Good for a 2 hour visit. They do have a pay what you can cafe as well but you can bring your own food as well!

We regularly travel about the country and make it a point to stop at Children's Museums with our 2 boys, 4 and 6. Not only is it a great way to tire them out, we enjoy watching them try new things, struggle, and eventually overcome with a new sense of confidence. If you're lucky enough to be part of a local Children's Museum that participates in the networks, it is also free or half-price at this one. This museum was definitely nice - several floors of activities and things to try out. We especially enjoyed the advance climber activities. It was raining when we visited, so a bit busier, but this is to be expected. We hope to come back soon and spend more time in the outdoor play area. Most impressive experience: The Lunchbox is a pay-what-you-can healthy lunch place. I chipped in $100 because I loved the model.

You get a discount or it's free depending on membership level of other children's museums. We have the Kohl children's museum membership but I forgot about it in the moment. It's not the biggest but it has some good quality exhibits.

It was an amazing experience. The museum has lots of space to explore and things to do. They also have a pay as much as you can policy for lunch items to allow everyone to enjoy.
