I a disabled American citizen was recently profiled at my local grocery store. I live in the tri cities of Tennessee we’re I was born and raised. I recently to my local grocery store were I do my grocery shopping at. Im an African American male who was wearing a black hoodie and joggers. I was followed around the dollar general store by the cashier lady the whole time who said “don’t be sticking anything in your pockets“ accusing me of stealing which I didn’t that led to me walking out the store at the dollar general in Sullivan county Tennesse. Now mind you I shop here all the time. I was waiting outside the store for the bus when the gm came outside after he seen the false allegation he still wanted to blame me when I was mad upset and embarrasse. He proceeded to call the cops on me which I said thats fine I will wait for them because I didn’t steal anything. When the officer arrived I was immediately searched. The police officer didnt find anything and agreed with me that it was wrong for the false allegations but advised me not to go back that I wa put on the no tresspassing list. I’m confused here on who was in the wrong if its defamation and profiling against me? This is the America we live in
