I give this a 2 star of 5 rating as the hotel is very outdated. Everything is old and quality of maintenance is low. The building, parking lot, lanscaping and rooms show minimal care and upkeep. The hot water faucet and shower have hot and cold reversed. The tub has mold in the caulking. Bed sheets are old. TV is old model with no ability for streaming services. The hotel receptionists are abrupt and short with you. They don't offer greetings or any kind words. In fact, only one person is on staff in evenings and often not at the front desk. Obviously, they don't like their jobs and are performing at minimum level. Also, several businesses and restaurants in the area are shut down. It appears that this area of commercial properties is struggling.

This hotel is very conveniently located near shopping and restaurants and freeway. It was quiet and the breakfast looked good. The employees were very eager to make our experience a good one.

I had initially intended to book a stay at this establishment but ultimately decided against it, primarily due to the perceived unhelpfulness encountered during my phone inquiries. Earlier in the week, I contacted the hotel to inquire about airport shuttle services. The representative's initial response was, Are you staying here? I clarified that I had not yet made a reservation but was seeking information regarding shuttle schedules prior to booking. I called again yesterday as I had still not booked a hotel. My inquiry this time was whether the hotel was undergoing renovations. The representative's tone was again perceived as abrupt, or like I was an inconvenience responding with, Yeah, why? I explained that I had seen information online and was calling to see if the pool would be open during any renovation period. The response was, Yeah, yeah, it is. I concluded the call by expressing my thanks. My decision not to proceed with a reservation was based on the impression that my inquiries were a source of inconvenience, leading me to believe that booking with this establishment would not be a suitable choice.

Overall, my stay was decent, but there were several issues worth mentioning. The room itself was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable, which I definitely appreciated. However, the overall appearance of the hotel feels outdated. The carpet throughout the property is worn and dated, and the bathtub in my room had visible stains, which wasn’t the best first impression. When I first entered my room, I did what I normally do — inspect everything. I noticed right away that the patio door would not lock. For safety reasons, I went back downstairs and requested to be relocated (Room 250). The staff moved me to another room (Room 237). Once again, I inspected the room and noticed the plug from the AC unit was hanging from the socket. Additionally, the bed and TV were slightly smaller than in my original room. At that point, I wasn’t thrilled and returned to the lobby to ask if I could go back to my original room because I didn’t want to continue searching for a suitable room. The pool was extremely cold — freezing, honestly — and completely unbearable to enjoy. If you’re looking forward to swimming, be prepared for that.Breakfast was another disappointment. For non-pork eaters, there were essentially no protein options available. No turkey bacon, turkey sausage, chicken sausage, or turkey ham. The cereal options could also be better. It would be nice to see additional yogurt toppings like strawberries, blueberries, or granola to improve the overall breakfast experience. In summary, while the bed was comfortable and the room was cozy, the outdated features, maintenance issues, cold pool, and limited breakfast options leave room for improvement. With some updates and attention to detail, this hotel could provide a much better guest experience.
