tripadvisorDefinitely not the best tour and not at all worth the $30 per person. UGH! Brian was witty--what we could understand of his narrative. He spoke too quickly and it was very hard to hear. There were only 7 of us on the tour but we heard only about 50% of what he said because it was garbled. The most interesting spot was the little park where the water breach took place in 2009. And it was nice to just chill as he drove around. Other than that, we just drove around town and in some residential parts that were sort of run down. To save the $127 we spent for the four of us, we should have gone to the tourist info place, gotten a map and Googled some of the history of the area. I would NOT recommend this tour.
MoreVery disappointing trolley tour. There were very few actual facts about Wisconsin Dells or the places we were seeing. Most of the commentary was based on the driver Brian’s personal opinions. The tour was also very negative throughout, with frequent negative comments and a lot of discussion about businesses and shows that had already closed or left the area. It did not feel informative or enjoyable, especially for a family with kids.We were hoping to learn about Wisconsin Dells and its history, but unfortunately, we left feeling like we didn’t learn much at all. I would not recommend this tour.
MoreThis was a great way for me to be able to actually look around at the sights since I wasn’t driving. Also, I loved seeing downtown without having to be stuck in my own vehicle in all of the Labor Day weekend traffic. Guide was knowledgeable about city’s history and pointed facts out in a timely fashion to coincide with what we were driving by. Guide was humorous. Guide discussed various to-do activities from a local’s perspective which would have been helpful at the beginning of my visit; so I wish I would have scheduled this earlier in my trip. Bring a water bottle or something to drink in the summer. Value was worth the cost. May be boring for younger children, so bring some fidgets.
MoreGreat driver and awesome winery tours plus lunch!
MoreBrian was our driver and the microphone had to much base and his voice or mannerism was hard to understand we are older but between his monotone and noise from the A/C unit and the trolley/road noise barely caught anything he was saying.
