The train ride was a nice thing to do with grandkids. The scenery is beautiful. The kids loved the stop at the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. My only complaint is that the smell and smoke from train fuel was quite overwhelming. It made us feel a little nauseated and gave my 8 year old grandson a headache.

Perfect for your little ones. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic, and the train ride is just long enough to be interesting. We did the pumpkin train ride, which was a nice touch to end the ride with. You get off the train for a short bit and the kids get to pick a pumpkin to take. The train itself is so cool! It's mini, but a fully functioning steam locomotive, with cute train cars of various design. The smell of the burning charcoal mixed with the crisp autumn morning air was pure nostalgia. A fun quick morning outing at a reasonable price. Highly Recommend!

Glad to see positive changes this year! (a new building and paved parking lot were most noticeable.) Not only are they keeping up with the usual maintenance/grounds keeping but they're also adding new things to experience.

Absolutely amazing experience! The entire property is clean and very well kept by caring staff. The gentlemen running the train were friendly and offered vast information about the train and railway. Add this to your must visit list during your next trip to the Dells!

This is an amazing and relaxing place. The train ride was peaceful and informative all at once. I highly recommend this train ride for adults and children
