New Energy Counseling is an inspiring idea I have created for traditional mental health counseling. It is a creative and "holistic" approach to solving one's problems. It is based on the idea of accessing a new or improved self image for oneself--meaning that individuals can see themselves as a dynamic person with unlimited potential available even though he or she may also be experiencing pain or challenges in some areas of their lives. During therapy sessions, individuals can be guided in accessing the part or parts of themselves that are strong, wise and capable of any healing and ability to change for the better. Individual Psychotherapy Addictions Life transitions Relationship problems Trauma, grief and loneliness Spiritual crises Anxiety, stress and depression Sexual Abuse or sexual Issues Victimization from Narcissistic Abuse Codependency Chronic pain and illness Family conflicts and parenting Sexuality (all sexual orientations welcome)
