It is set up very well, there are 9 ponds to walk around, the paths are flat and well maintained . The day i went was very windy but still able to see some birds. The worker said it takes usually a few hours to see, and I was there about 2.5 hours and saw most of it. There is a nice boardwalk and also a nice observation deck. This would be good for families with kids.

Very pleasant park for walking and birding. Nice shrubbery for butterfly viewing as well. The hours are limited, so get there early in the day.

We rented a car from at our hotel and set out to explore Henderson. This area was very nice, a stark contrast to the strip which was great. Peaceful respite with great viewing .

We were looking for something to do early in the morning that would be a change from the usual things to do in Vegas. After reading TA reviews, we thought this place would be perfect. It’s very nice, well managed, and free. We enjoyed our walk around the ponds and our views of the wildlife. Enjoy.Written on IPhone. Please excuse any typos

Excellent place for birdwatching and photography. No entry fees too. I went at 7:30am and there was plenty of bird activity. Lot of geese around as well, and smaller birds too (with some patience!)Recommend to anyone looking for a nice nature walk in Las Vegas as well!
