tripadvisorBeach and the view was ok. Nothing special. Parking was hard to find. Will try other beach next time. Good stop for the kids for few hours.
MoreSeabright Beach is a hidden gem in Santa Cruz, offering a wide stretch of sand and stunning ocean views. My family has enjoyed picnics and bonfires here, making it a great spot for gatherings. The beach feels spacious, providing plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded. The nearby lighthouse adds to the charm, and the easy access makes it a convenient stop. While parking can be limited, the walk from nearby streets is manageable. If you're looking for a quieter beach experience, Seabright Beach is a great choice with a laid-back atmosphere.
MoreOne of my favorite beaches. Plenty of room so it’s not crowded. Clean, bathrooms, showers. Great views and a lighthouse and wharf. Parking is available but first come, first serve.
MoreThe beach is very pretty, but a little scruffy in parts. There were a few homeless folks on the beach and in some parts we found dog poop. The part by the lighthouse was nicer and cleaner.
More$10 to park right at the beach. If you are fit and can walk up and down a very steep group of stairs, there is free parking at the top of the hill. We had a person with trouble walking with us, so the $10 was well spent, so he could access and walk along the beach on the paved walkway. My kids played in the sand. There is a wharf too, with a sunken ship at the end. Nice place to picnic with tables and bathrooms. Looked like there were campsites on the opposite side as well. Highly recommend getting Marianne's ice cream at the top of the street! We brought it down with us.
