My daughter took me to the Bazar on a visit to Buffalo. The Bazar is an eclectic group of various ethnic food vendors and some clothing vendors. This place is a local business incubator. The atmosphere was friendly and warm, and the food was very good.

Exotic Buffalo seems like an oxymoron, but West Side Bazaar proves that it simply is not. Going into the building made me feel like I was suddenly back in Asia. The set up of the bazaar is simply what I was accustomed to at home. The colors made me smile and excited to browse through everything. Burmese, Thai, and Senegalese wares are available and they are beautiful. West Side Bazaar also has a food court where one can chose from Thai, Burmese, Japanese, Sudanese, and Ethiopian foods. I happen to be a fan of the mentioned cuisines so of course this just made me even more of a fan. This is a really cool place to check out if you were in Buffalo.

This is a great new bazaar that was started by members of the community to showcase their diverse cultures in an up and coming area of the city. Its a wonderful stop to experience food, music, unique shopping and some great conversation with people from various parts of the world and the city of Buffalo. There's everything from sushi to Peruvian and Ethiopian cuisine and items such as beautiful silver jewelry from Morocco, clothing, scarves, decorative household items and cosmetics. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it based on the uniqueness of the items you will find as well as the warm, lovely people you will encounter and the grass-roots way it was created.
