After years of wanting to, my girlfriend and I finally participated in a Wheelhouse Detroit tour this past weekend. It was positively stellar. We did the Auto Heritage Tour. The guide was eminently knowledgeable. We learned SO much about the city through the lens of its auto industry history, and we saw places we never would have otherwise. He and the sweep also did an excellent job of navigating the route, managing the group, and ensuring that it was a terrific experience for everyone involved. I cannot wait to do another tour. Wheelhouse Detroit is a great bike shop. We were very happy to blow a bunch of money on merch after the ride.

We had a great time on the Poletown tour! We learned a lot about the area and how it has changed over the years. The highlight was stopping at the Pierogi Festival for some delicious Polish food before completing the ride back! The tour was very well-organized and our guides were great!

Our tour guide Kelly did a great job for our small group which included my husband and 3 young gentlemen from Amsterdam. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The tour covered a wide region of Detroit with a focus on the redeveloping riverfront. Would recommend.

As a Detroit native, I LOVE DETROIT. It will always be home, no matter where I live. I have seen the good and the bad and must say that including services like the bike shop is a welcomed addition. Its convenient to be able to rent bikes while your's is being repaired. It really adds to the downtown experience in a good way. The rental prices are ok. The convenience is maximal. I appreciate the lady who made sure that I had a comfortable bike, as I hadn't ridden a bike in a very long time. The atmosphere was safe and inviting. Honestly, I've always felt safe in downtown Detroit. I wish that Hart Plaza was blocked off with the ugly gates, but the rest of the riverfront and Riverwalk was gorgeous. The views of Canada, the beautiful Detroiters and visitors, riding past the merry-go-round, playground, lush greenery, marina, and more was so relaxing and fun. Thank you Wheel House for getting our bike ready days ahead of expectation. THIS is a great way to enjoy the day!
