tripadvisorIf you are in Red Hook, it is worth stopping by this pier as it offers terrific views of the New York Harbor, Statue of Liberty and the Staten Island Ferry.
MoreIf you’re in Red Hook stop by this park. It’s out-of-the-way and a little hard to fine but definitely worth the time. Nice little pier with great views of the Statue of Liberty. Even has a little sandy beach. It’s also a great place to walk your dog.
MoreFor the adventurous tourist: Red Hook is a riverside corner of Brooklyn, best reachable by water taxi from downtown Manhattan. From this little-known park you can get spectacular views of the Hudson, including the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the lower Manhattan skyline. There are plenty of nearby restaurants (some good, some mediocre -- check on line for recommendations). For a special treat, Google your way to Steve's Key Lime pies (near the park) where you'll find the creamiest version of that delicious confection.
MoreThis park is a piece of heaven. I am in love with it. It’s quiet and perfect for a romantic picnic, going for a walk, practicing outdoor sports or reading a book.
MoreNice view over the Statue of Liberty and Jersey City. I went there in the evening and it felt like a nice and safe place with people hanging around and fishing.
