Reviews
tripadvisorThe Good - convenient location to the Green line. Parking at $25 per night is less than most other places. Unit #1 on the lower level was nice. We got moved to that only after asking to move us from the 3rd floor. The Bad - If you are on level three, you will have a very steep stairs to go up.Great if you have not much luggage or are young. There is NO MENTION on the website for the small rooms on the top level. Bathroom was extremely small and the vents were filthy and need to be cleaned. I mentioned it to them after the first day, but nothing was done. There is a community kitchen where you can store your food in the frig. You need to do your own dishes as the dishwasher and the Keurig coffee don't work. They provide coffee for the drip pot. This really should be called the Longwood Hostel. I got the impression that there is NO maintenance happening here. Lots of long term residents living here which is fine. Cost is much less than most hotels in the area, but you are dealing with some issues that might not be to your liking.
MoreTraditional motel in a lovely village. Disappointed with check in as we had to guess what to do (small poster on the wall on entry with directions to find our key) . Comfortable room and interesting and traditional interiors. Good communal space with facilities and complimentary coffee and tea. Good stay but felt very impersonal - so don’t expect a lot of one to one interaction.Brookline is great though.
MoreReally cute and quiet , will be back again!
MoreNice old building (no elevator to the upper floors). We were offered late check-out. Comfortable bedrooms with AC and cable TV. The hotel has a kitchen, a fridge and other spaces. Also a parking lot. Quiet area, close to the Boston Green Line and Fenway Park.
MoreThis is my place to stay when my family is having surgery. The staff are friendly and welcoming. My past visit I especially found Angel to be “my Angel” when we were in Boston for a transplant surgery. He was so accommodating and kind. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable and the restaurant is convenient as well as the local food court which adjoins the hotel.
