1. I purchased my gift certificate in hopes that I could give my girlfriend a nice relaxing day at the spa. 2. I called numerous times over a two day period to make an appointment with not a single answer. 3. I left a message... with no response. 4. I emailed to make an appointment and was told that my girlfriend could come in on Saturday around 10 am. 5. Saturday comes. I'm excited for her. She's excited. We both needed this. Instead, I get a call (while at work) from her saying that, in fact, no appointment was made at no fault of our own. She is sent home. 6. I call Butter Day immediately. No manager. Not a single person in charge to resolve the issue. 7. I asked for a refund that day, and the days to follow - through phone and email. 8. Not a single returned call. Not a single manager. Nothing. 9. When I finally got my refund... it was credited to my Paypal account, which I did not use to pay for the certificate. And all of this communication was done sparingly through email. A friend and I wanted to treat ourselves so we booked a Never Never Land package at Butter Day. We could not have been happier with our facials, massages and mani-pedis. Everyone was kind and interested in meeting our needs. The owner was charming. The price was good and the lunch that was included was delicious. Great find!

Going away for Christmas and wanted to surprise my daughter w a relaxing spa day.i booked our massages and had hoped to get pedicures too, unfortunately being the holiday the spa couldn't get anyone to come in. I kept out massage appointment and my daughter and I had a great experience. The massage therapist took the time to explain everything and made sure we were comfortable! Would go back again for a full spa day.

I had a make up application and was pleased. I was hoping to learn a little more but walked away feeling beautiful and looking great. I would return if I lived in Rhode Island.

I looked for quite a bit online at different places and seeing the ratings I thought this would be a great place to book a 1hr and 1/2 massage for both me and a friend for her birthday. Needless to say I was rather let down. After paying more then I would for the normal places I to for massages, thinking it would be a great experience, but again I was duped. The atmosphere was not happy or greeting. It was more like a morgue. It was dreary and they didn't seem very friendly. After going into the room and waiting to change , my friend went into the bathroom first which was dirty and dusty. Being that it was her birthday I'm glad she got the better of the massages her therapist I wish I could remember her name because she was probably the only person there that was pleasant and accommodating and seemed like she actually cared about the clients. The woman that did my massage seemed very rushed and didn't really focus on what I had asked her to ... she also ended 10 minutes before my friends massage which cut me 10 minutes short.... after paying definitely on the high end of what I have ever paid in better spas I was very disappointed.
