tripadvisorMy 12 year old son and I went on the Segway tour today as total newbies! Jered took his time explaining the Segway, demonstrated safe use and made sure we felt comfortable by working with us one on one from the start. I love his emphasis on safety first, then fun!I enjoyed the entire tour but my favorite part was going over bridges at the very end! The river was stunning! We couldn’t have done such a comprehensive tour without Jered and the Segways. I highly recommend the tour!
MoreWe had a great time seeing the city with Jared. It was a fun experience and he made us feel comfortable both on the Segway physically, and in the area. He knew the city well and told us some fun facts about the different landmarks, etc. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is because it wasn’t a history lesson, there were a handful of cool facts we learned but not tons. Still a good time, and I’d recommend it for someone vacationing in Portland as we were or if you live in the area and want to try something fun!
MorePortland by Segway was super fun. We zoomed around on our segways (which were very easy to use) and learned about all the different buildings, bridges parks (and more) in the city. Captain Kurt was an awesome guide (go trailblazers! And team USA!) I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone to anyone looking to see the best and coolest parts of Portland.
MoreMy two teenage daughters and I had the 1.5 hour tour. What a fantastic way to see a city! Cap'n Kurt did an awesome job of making sure we all felt comfortable and competent on the Segway right off the bat. He was full of interesting and funny stories and we were able to see Portland in a way that we never would've been able to in a car or on foot.
MoreKurt (our guide) was funny, knowledgeable, and kept a good lookout for us all, without making the trip feel slow or weird.
